Embassy Opening in Phnom Penh
In the course of a rich evening combining of Cambodian and Western Classical dance, Khmer traditional music and Jazz and Blues, vocalist CoCo York and pianist D.D. Jackson helped celebrate the opening of the new U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh.
Performing with the vocal ensemble of the Royal University of Fine Arts, the American Voices artists were heartily applauded by an audience including members of the royal family and high level government officials.
This was D.D. Jackson's first appearance for American Voices. You can listen to him in our Sound and Video Library section and download the Podcasts of his recent interviews with Executive Director, John Ferguson and with vocalist CoCo York.
